What would it feel like to let go?
(Let go of what, You say.)
Let go of the sense of responsibility for your future.
Let go so that you can experience that you are completely OK.
Let me say that again: YOU ARE OK.
That is not going to change. No one can take your OKness from you. You were OK before, and you will be OK after, and you are definitely OK now.
So, how does that change things for you?
Do you move slower or faster?
Do you have more play? (Do you play with the meaning of this word–like wiggle room, like fun, like freedom?)
Do you make more mistakes?
Do you savor the mistakes for every drop of learning they give you?
(May I remind you that you are OK.)
Do you discover and be yourself a bit more?
Do you open your heart a little wider?
Do you notice something new about people you thought could no longer surprise you, or places you thought you had been before?
And have you taken a breath and felt it move into and through your body?
You are OK. Play with that, feel that, and now set it on a shelf. It will be waiting for you, right where you left it, in the morning, this OKness of you.
Watch, this week, your OKness. Watch it follow you like the moon. Watch it wake up with you like the sun. When you lose sight of it, take a deep breath and see how it reappears.
You are OK.
